bwahahaha! oh lordy, lordy...work. its SUCH a comical thing these days.

okay, so my "boss" tells me that she wants to have a meeting with me. okay...i am thinking, "great...i just LOVE these meetings." so we go for a walk...and she tells me that she is VERY pleased with my performance and is wanting to know what i think, whether or not i am happy. so i am honest with her and tell her that the job is not hard for me, and i feel as if i am on a routine, BUT...that i dont see any chance for promotion, and i dont make as much money as i need, nor as i want. so in those two aspects, i am not happy...and i plan on looking for a new job within the next year.

she says "well i want to run this proposal by you...i want to offer you a $2000 raise and i want you to be MY assistant come June".

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! is she SERIOUS? ME, HER assistant? riiiiiiiiight. cause the woman does so much at HER job to warrant an assistant!

she says "yeah, i would feel much better about doing my job if i had an assistant". all i can think is that she wants someone who knows how to do her job better than she does, so she can pawn off all the work and take all the credit, like she has been!

and only a $2000 raise? my ass!

this is not to say that i am not flattered that she is offering me this. i am. it feels good to know that i am doing good work, and being complimented. they want me here, or alteast she does. thats nice to know...and i am taking that in and enjoying it! :)

regardless, she wants a "formal committment", i told her that i would have to think about it and "talk it over with jonathon".

i found it quite entertaining....
