aaaack! all this diet craze is driving me NUTS! ever feel so bombarded with what is "healthy" and what "isnt" that you seriously dont know HOW to be healthy? or you dont know what to eat? this stupid "no carb" crap, and the "detox your body" bull is about ready to send me over the edge!
my brain is so messed up with this crap again that i cant even THINK sanely anymore! it is driving me insane!!!!
I am SOO incredibly tired of thinking about it. so incredibly tired of beating myself up because i ate this, or ate that, or didnt go to the gym this morning. i just want to be like i used to be, like 2 years ago, when my weight just didnt matter. all that mattered was that i FELT healthy, i worked out (because i really do enjoy working out), and was confidant in my appearance.

for one thing - don't beat your self up.
for another - seriously, check out the theories behind the south beach diet. it's not no-carb at all. it focuses on taking crap out of your diet. read: processed foods. beer, WHITE bread, WHITE rice and crap like that. you can still eat whole grain bread and whole wheat pasta. sweet potato chips. hell...pretty much everything. and while it starts as a diet book, it's really just a lifestyle change and it makes you feel and look healthier.
and no, i'm not getting paid for this shit.
and it also says - hey! if you feel like eating ice cream, go big. don't go get "light" mint choc chip cuz that's just empty calories. go for it, eat a tub of breyers and be done with it. you won't die.
and?
do NOT by "low carb" food. they're made with sugar alcohols and strip the food of natural nutrients. there's so much to choose from without going the processed route.
