Ever wonder what your life would be like if the world were perfect? Ever wonder HOW your life would be different if the world were perfect? You hear that saying all the time "if the world were perfect" or "in a perfect world" blah blah blah.
So...lets entertain that idea. A perfect world according to Rachael. Now remember, this is MY perfect world...thus MY reality...thus the things that I deal with on a day to day basis. SURE in a perfect world, there would be world peace and order and no disease and everyone would have "enough" money. Thats all a given. I am talking RACHAEL'S PERFECT WORLD:
Lets start with my job. In a perfect world...I would be doing something that I actually liked. I wouldnt be printing labels, stuffing envelopes and hauling 40lb boxes up and down stairs. In a perfect world, I would be trusted and knowledgable and respected. The "powers" that be would communicate with me, be honest with me and treat me as if I exist. They wouldnt make changes to my job description and "title" just because they can...and not tell me about it, and just assume that I will be "okay" with it because "we challenge you to go out and find a new job in this economy". (in a perfect world, the economy would be perfect). In a perfect world, I would have no guilt about leaving a job to persue other interests or further my career or learn something new. In a perfect world, I would make "enough" money to live comfortable and not in stres. I am not talking ALOT of money...just enough to know that IF I were to lose a job, quit, or my boyfriend/fiance/husband were to lost his job/quit/want to persue something else, we would be okay. we would not be financially strapped. In a perfect world...I wouldnt wake up dreading the work day, I may feel challenged thus not wanting to go to work, BUT I wouldnt feel complete distaste for my place of work.
