One of the worst experiences that i have had to go through recently, was breaking the news to my boss that i was quitting because i have another job offer. It has been a very long time that i had been that nervous and that scared. yes scared. confrontation and i do not get along, at all...and rejection and anger are not my friends either.

BUT, i did it...much to her complete shock and anger. a few backhanded comments later, and i was out the door...feeling 10lbs lighter. however, now (and for the next two weeks), i will get looks of anger and a few more backhanded comments, and the big ol' white elephant in the corner wont be discussed. again, whatever. they didnt do a single thing to keep me around here, so i cant imagine it is too much of a shock to any one of them...except for my boss who tried SO hard to keep me stifled and controlled. another, whatever.

I move on to bigger and better things i suppose. Churchill Downs is my new place of employment (well in two weeks). So that should prove to be an interesting experience. DERBY here I come, I suppose...
