its fairly entertaining the way you are treated as "just the admin. assistant" vs. the "promotions coordinator at churchill downs". evem, here at 4th street live...now that they know i am leaving, and they know where i am going...they feel they need to "respect me" more. i dont know if thats the correct way to say it, but they all the sudden realize that i am MORE than the peon that does all their paperwork and faxes their faxes, and fixes their computers.

and among the other admins....seriously its like "Rachael broke free!". ever seen Maid in Manhatten with JLo? she is the maid that falls in love with the billionair political guy, and all the other maids are in "awe" that she was able to break free from being a maid, and go out and be something 'more' (a manager). yeah, thats how they kinda act. it kind of makes me sad, because these girls have SO much to offer, and their bosses treat them like such crap, yet they dont go out and find anything else, because they feel trapped for one reason or another. my wish for every one of them is that the all have the opportunity to move on to something that they each enjoy, and dont have to take the crap that they take now...AND are able to stand up and just walk out of their current job. just say f-you to their current boss.
